Adjoa Van Vicker was born in Accra, Ghana, on January 24, 1977. She is the daughter of Madam Dora Dufie Darko and Mr. Dawson Amoah, and she grew up in Accra. Adjoa attended Aggrey Memorial SHS. She proceeded to KNUST for her University education and finished in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.
Adjoa enrolled at the Legon Center for International Affairs in Accra in 2002 and graduated in 2003 with an M.A. in International Affairs. In 2016, she obtained another Master’s degree in Development Studies from the London South Bank University in the United Kingdom. However, before that, Adjoa had already bagged a professional certificate in Human Resources from the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP).
