Chris Attoh is from a royal family. He was born on May 17, 1979, in Jamestown, Accra, and he is 44 years old. He is the son of the late Nii Kojo Armah IV, a former paramount Chief of Jamestown. His mum is an Akan, and he grew up in Jamestown.

TV and Radio Journey
Growing up, Chris Attoh wanted to become a film director, and his family knew about it. However, Chris started his career as a radio and television presenter. The first radio station he worked with was Groove FM, where he did his National Service, and after the service, he moved to Choice FM.
Attoh later joined Metro TV, and there he started his TV career. He hosted Links and some episodes of Smash TV on Metro TV. Along the line, Chris was hosting Show Time on GTV, and after some time, he left Metro TV for Capital Radio in Kumasi to continue with radio. He was the host of Jazz Nite on Capital Radio.
From there, Chris Attoh worked with other media houses such as TV3 Ghana, GhOne TV, and Viasat 1. He also worked with Charterhouse. He was known for hosting TV shows like Born Starz, It Takes Two, Stars of the Future, Mentor, and Miss Malaika and co-hosting events like the Ghana Music Awards.
When Chris went to London to study, he also worked with Original Black Entertainment (OBE) TV in the United Kingdom. He hosted the “One Touch” Show on OBE TV.

Chris Attoh began his acting career in Ghana during the time he was working for Charterhouse. He first starred in a series titled Choices and another dubbed “Divorced Court.’ These two series belonged to KSM.
However, following the series, actor Chris Attoh landed his first role in a full movie directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso. The film was titled “Life and Living it.” He featured in another movie dubbed “Scorned” and a third movie titled Perfect Picture, which gave him his breakthrough in the Ghana movie industry.
After dominating the Ghana movie industry, Chris Attoh entered the Nigerian movie industry. He became famous in Nigeria after starring in Tinsel, a TV Series.
