Eddie Watson was born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. He was born on May 22, 1980, to Mr. Eddie and Leonora Caulke. He lost his biological mother, Leonora, in 2021. He is the first child of his parents. He has a sister called Edith Watson.
He started schooling in Liberia and attended his high school at St. Patrick’s High School in Monrovia, Liberia. He came to Ghana years after living in Liberia. Watson is married, and he is married to Naomi Woode (Naomi Watson), a beautiful Ghanaian woman who currently lives in the United States. She is a Nurse by profession.
Eddie married his wife on October 4, 2013, and they have a female child called Emirror Cassia Watson. She was born on February 2, 2015.

Career
Eddie Watson started his professional acting career in 2010 in Ghana. He first starred in the movie Labour of Love and went on to feature in African War and Somewhere in Africa, where he played supporting roles. His supporting role in Somewhere in Africa: The Cries of Humanity, directed by Frank Rajah Arase, got him a nomination at the Nollywood & African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA).
In 2011, he made his first movie appearance in the Nollywood movie industry in Nigeria, where he starred in Desperate Heart alongside actress Queen Nwokoye. Starring in movies like Single and Married in 2012, House of Gold, Letters to My Mother, and Purple Rose in 2013, the actor soon became a household name in African entertainment.
However, 2014 became a good and a bad year for Eddie Watson. It was a bad year for him because his birth country, Liberia, was one of the worst affected by the outbreak of the Ebola virus, which made him write, shoot, and direct a short film titled Ebola. The year 2014 was a good year for Watson because he earned nominations for the actor for different roles in films such as Bachelors, Sister at War, and Purple Rose.
Also, for the first time, he was nominated in two categories for the Ghana Movie Awards (Best Short Film for his Ebola movie and Best Actor in A Lead Role for Bachelors movie). He won the Best Short Film Award at the Ghana Movie Awards 2014. Eddie is based more in the Nollywood movie industry now, and aside from acting, he is a director and a producer of movies.
He has produced films like She Prayed, Jack & Jill, and Mary Mary under his production, Emirror Films Productions. On Saturday, December 5, 2015, Watson premiered one of his major movies, She Prayed, in Sierra Leone with support from some casts and African movie stars, including Majid Michel, Beverly Osu, and Melvin Oduah.
