As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Apply evidence-based practices to assess and evaluate patient care for your assigned patients.
- Accurately document all relevant assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes, following established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient evaluation, testing, and therapy.
- Perform basic medical procedures and administer medications.

Position Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg
Location: SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, 707 14th St, Baraboo, WI 53913

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with weekend rotations every third weekend.
Starting Pay: $37.74 per hour (offers based on experience and role equity).
Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with the established protocols and procedures of the healthcare organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Apply medical-surgical nursing standards to improve patient care quality and outcomes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to develop personalized care plans.
Use the nursing process to assess patients, determine diagnoses, set care goals, and evaluate outcomes.
Develop care strategies that consider all aspects of the patient’s condition, including physical, cultural, social, and spiritual factors.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent education required for licensing.
