It’s simple to check your SSNIT contribution online in Ghana. The official website of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust of Ghana has been enhanced to enable you to check your SSNIT Contribution online and carry out other self-service functions using your smartphones, laptops, tablets, and computers wherever you are and whenever.
Steps to check your SSNIT Contribution online
You can check your SSNIT contribution online in Ghana by carefully following the steps below:
Step 1:
• Visit https://www.ssnit.org.gh/. This is the official website of SSNIT Ghana.
• On the site, look for “Self Service” and click on it. We highly recommend individuals using their Smartphones to set their browser in Desktop mode.
• As a First Timer, you need to Sign Up. So under “Request for Portal ID,” select “Member,” and next, click on “Sign Up.”
• Fill in the Form and click on “Sign Up.”
– SSNIT/GhanaCard Number
– Email (Your registered email with SSNIT Ghana).
– What is your mother’s first name.
Note: In case there’s an error when you click on “Sign up” after filling out the form, please refresh the page for a new question and fill out the form again. You only have three attempts.
• Check your email address for your Portal ID (Username and Temporal Password) after answering the questions rightly.

Step 2:
• Now, Login to the SELF SERVICE Portal.
• Enter your Portal ID (Username, thus your SSNIT number, and Temporal Password sent via email).
• Enter your new Password and login to the Self Service Portal with your Username (SSNIT number) and new Password.
• Access your personal lobby.
• Select “Contribution” from the listed items on Menu to access your statement of account.
Note: You don’t have to repeat step 1 on your next visit to the website.
If you were not successful, kindly email the following details to contactcentre@ssnit.org.gh to enable the SSNIT team to update your records and send your statement to you.
