Kafui was born on August 16, 1982, in the Volta Region. She grew up in Ho, and her hometown is Tanyigbe Etoe, a town we can find in Ho, the Volta Region of Ghana. Kafui has two siblings: a senior sister and a junior brother. Her parents are the late John Danku and Madam Agnes Asigbey (a retired Nurse).

Career
Danku started her career as a model. Her father wasn’t that cool with it, but he became supportive when he saw her participate in Miss Greater Accra 2004 on TV. Kafui Danku won the pageant, and a few months later, she joined the Miss Ghana 2004 contest, where she became a finalist.
Kafui began her professional acting career at the United Nations before she entered the Ghana Movie Industry in 2009. Her first movie in the Ghana movie industry is Agony of Christ, with casts like Majid Michel and Nadia Buari.
After many years of acting, in 2013, Kafui ventured into movie-making. She is the co-owner of ABC Limited (ABC Pictures GH), a film production that has produced movies like Devil in a Dress, Any Other Monday, Letter to My Mother, and Love and Crime.
