Music Journey

Malcolm Nuna has a music background. His mother is a guitarist, so he loved to listen to music when he was young and started singing at age eight (8). He began songwriting and his professional music career at Ghana National College. Malcolm’s first inspiration to write songs came after listening to “Good Intentions” by British rapper and singer Dappy. He was known among his peers in various high schools in Ghana when he took everything about music seriously in school because he used to perform his songs at Freaks, interschool competitions, and other Entertainment events.

In 2019, when Malcolm Nuna was in his second year at high school, he was discovered by the CEO of Alkians Entertainment, a music record label in Ghana, through a friend, and he became the first musical artiste who signed with Alkians on August 12. He released his first single ‘Staircase,” under the record label in 2019, followed by others like ‘Here to Stay, Make Up Your Mind” and “Man Like Nuna.” Malcolm released his first album, dubbed “Hasta La Vista,” in January 2021 after these singles, and now he has amazing songs with musicians from Ghana like Yaw Tog and Kuami Eugene, Nigerian musicians like Hot Kid, and international Collaboration with British singer Big Chris.
