Music Journey
MzVee started her musical journey when she was just a young girl. At a young age, she loved to sing and was influenced by her mum, who used to sing songs in her native language, Ewe, at home.
At St. Mary’s Senior High School, Vee became an Entertainment prefect, and right after high school, she went to see Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, with a female friend, and they told him about wanting to do music, so he then formed a group which he added another girl and they became three.
The all-female band was formed in 2012 and was made up of MzVee, Samira Buari, and Angela Bamford. Vee was the lead singer, and the band released songs like Good Girls Gone Bad, Gyani Gyani, and Gimmie Dat. In 2013, the band separated, and MzVee started a solo career under the record label Lynx Entertainment.
In 2014, She released her first single, Borkor Borkor featuring Zeal of VVIP music group in Ghana. Her second single was Natural Girl, and both songs were hits. In November 2014, she dropped her debut Album titled “Reveelation.” In 2015, MzVee released her second album, “Verified,” followed by some singles.
In 2017, She dropped her third album, DaaVe, and two years later, thus in September 2019, she parted ways with Lynx Entertainment to form her own team, “The MzVee Team (TMV).” In 2020, she released her fourth album titled Inveencible, and in June 2022, she dropped her fifth studio album, dubbed “10Thirty.” MzVee currently has five albums to her credit and more than fifty songs.
