Sandra Ababio was born on September 21, 1986, to Auntie Mercy and Mr. Ababio, aka Alege, in Accra, Ghana. She was raised by her parents alongside her siblings in Taifa, a suburb of Accra. Sandra is the second child among eight children. She is 37 years old and a native of Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Career
Sandra Ababio started her career as a radio presenter. After she completed the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), she worked as a presenter at X FM in Osu, Accra, for a few years and then decided to go into acting.
Ababio started her acting career in Nigeria’s Nollywood movie industry in 2013. She worked under Onye Best Production, and her first film was titled “Kingdom Desperados.”
After she starred in Kingdom Desperados, she appeared in other movies produced by Onye Best Production and worked with other movie productions in Nigeria.
From Nollywood, Sandra Ababio joined the Ghallywood movie industry in Ghana. However, after a few months, she met Deloris Frimpong, aka Delay, and she featured her in her local series “Afia Schwarzenegger.”
Ababio joined the Kumawood movie industry next with the help of Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah. She is currently a Kumawood actress who has featured in numerous Kumawood movies.
