She is the CEO of Shakira Movie Production, the producers of Baby Mama and The Devil Between My Legs films. She has also established a foundation called the “Tracey Boakye Foundation.”

Tracey Boakye’s real age is 33. She was born on January 17, 1991, at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. She comes from Aduman, Ashanti Region, and she is the only daughter of her parents. However, she has eight stepsiblings, five from her mother’s side and three from her father’s side.
Tracey Boakye was raised by her grandma from age 16. At that time, her mum, who is a Nurse, was living in the UK, and her dad was in Canada. Her parents separated when her mum was still carrying her in her womb, they never married. They are both married now to different partners and still living their individual lives abroad. After eight months of living with her dad, she moved to the UK, where her mum was residing, and she completed grade 8 there in Essex, UK.
After spending two years in the UK, at age 16, Tracey decided to come to Ghana. When she came to Ghana, she stayed with her grandma and continued her education. Tracey got admission into Angel Educational Complex (SHS) but decided to quit school at SHS 2. Later, she studied acting for three months at Ghallywood Africa Film Academy in Prampram, Accra.

Career
Tracey Boakye wanted to pursue a movie career at a young age, but her mum told her to finish high school first. She didn’t listen and dropped out of high school to start her career at sixteen without anyone supporting her decision.
According to Tracey, she was at home in her grandmother’s house one day and saw an advertisement for a movie audition on TV, so she decided to go and try it out. She disclosed different roles were given to her to play at the auditions, and the film producer Clement Amankwah Opam liked what she did, so he decided to feature her in a film he had already shot and was about to release. The film was titled “Cicera,” and that was her first movie.
However, after her first movie, she enrolled at the Ghallywood Africa Film Academy for three months and returned to the movie scene. She worked with Jackson Bentum, and since then, she has appeared in many films. Today, she has her Production, which has seen her produce several movies.
