Sefa was born in Accra, Ghana, on May 7, 1995. She is 28 years old and hails from Afife in the Volta Region of Ghana. She is the second-born of four children of her parents. She also has four step-siblings from her father’s marriage with another woman. Her father, Mr. Amesu, is an Ewe man from Afifi in the Volta Region, and her biological mother is a Dagaati from the Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

Music Career
Even though Sefa loved to sing when she was a little girl, she never dreamt of becoming a musician in the future but an air hostess. However, after SHS, Sefa decided to make music, so she started to showcase her singing talent by performing at a club and a bar in Accra. After every performance, the songstress shared videos of her performances on her Instagram, and with her videos, She caught the attention of entertainment Guru D-black with her talent.
When Sefa enrolled at the Accra Technical University, D Black signed her onto his record label, and this was a 4-years recording deal with the Black Avenue Muzik record label. After a successful signing, she released her first song, “Marry Me,” a reggae tune that features dancehall artist Jupiter. In May 2018, she released another song that also features the magical Ghanaian twins in the music industry DopeNation titled “Shuga.”
In November 2020, she dropped a debut album titled “Growth.” She recruited Bisa Kdei, Praiz, Fameye, Medikal, Dope Nation Sista Afia, Wendy Shay, Camidoh, and E.L, who made the album a successful album. On April 16, 2020, Sefa dropped her much-anticipated song titled “Echoke,” which features Ghanaian musician and dancer Mr. Drew. The Echoke hitmaker topped most streaming platforms in Ghana with her hit song.
