Kalybos gh was born and raised in Accra, Ghana. He was born on April 27, 1988. He is the second child of three children and a native of Nkwatia Kwahu, a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is 35 years old.

Career
Kalybos’s father was a photographer, and though his father wanted him to become an architect, he found an interest in photography. He started his career as a photographer after completing SHS in 2006. He worked under one John Passah, who received a little training from his dad, as an assistant Photographer at Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Sparrow Productions.
In 2012, not long after Kalybos enrolled at NAFTI, he was featured as the character Kalybos in the Boys Kasa comedy series with Ahoufe Patricia, who was also a student of NAFTI, and that brought him into the limelight. However, before the comedy series, he started acting and doing comedy at Suhum Senior High Technical School.
After Richard became famous for the Boys Kasa comedy skits, he started appearing in Ghanaian movies. He has starred in several Ghanaian and Nigerian films, like “Ghana Jollof.”
