Career
Mr. Drew started his career as a dancer. Growing up, he watched dance videos of legends like Slim Buster, Terry Bonchaka, Chris Brown, and Michael Jackson and practiced their dance moves in school. Drew became a dancer in senior high school, and from there, he enrolled in a dancing school where he started dancing in the music videos of renowned musicians in Ghana.
Drew developed an interest in making music while dancing and singing along to songs being played for him to dance. So he started doing mashups, and in 2017, he went for the MTN Hitmaker Season 6 and emerged as the first runner-up of the competition. Subsequently, he got signed to the Highly Spiritual record label owned by Kaywa and dropped his first song in 2018 titled “Gimmie Love.” In 2021, Mr. Drew dropped his debut Album “Alpha.” He has dropped a lot of singles, and some of his hits songs are This Year, S3k3, and Shuperu. He has worked with Ghanaian artists like Stonebwoy, Kelvyn Boy, KiDi, Kwabena Kwabena, and Sefa.
