Etormam Bedi was born on February 4, 1998, in Denu, in the Volta Region of Ghana, to Mr. and Mrs. Bedi. She spent a part of her early life in her hometown, Denu, before relocating to Accra with her family at age 10. She started schooling at Amazing Love in Denu, Volta Region, and after moving to Accra, she continued her basic education at Achimota Preparatory School and finished at their junior high.
She proceeded to Archbishop Porter Girls’ Senior High School in Takoradi, Western Region, where she studied Business. After completing high school in 2016, Etormam did a six-month acting course at a Media School in Accra, and later, she enrolled in the University of Ghana, where she studied Business Administration.

Acting Career
Etty Bedi developed a passion for acting after consistently watching movies at home whenever she was on vacation at the SHS level. She was fully convinced about becoming an actress in her final year in high school.
In 2016, after completing SHS, Etormam disclosed to her father about her acting dreams, and he enrolled her in a Media School in Accra, where she began her acting career. She first featured in a movie titled “Forbidden Fruit,” where she played a short role.
Beti went on to play roles in other movies before casting in the popular Ghanaian teen series, “YOLO,” which brought her into the limelight. Etty got featured in the YOLO television series after she went for an audition at the Farmhouse Studios in Accra.
She qualified to be one of the cast in the YOLO Season 5 edition after this audition, and in the series, she played the role of the childhood friend of Cyril, the main character. Through her role in YOLO, she has become a popular actress in Ghana and gotten the opportunity to feature in other movies and series produced in Ghana and Nigeria.
Etty is also into comedy skits and has appeared in some of the skits of Ghanaian content creator Jeffery Nortey.
