She spent a part of her early life in Kokomlemle and moved to Airport Residential Area with her family when she was 14. She is 20 years old and the first child among three children. Career
Afronita loved dancing when she was young. She took dancing very seriously when she was in JHS 1. She used to watch dance videos on YouTube and practice the dance moves in her room whiles at home. In her final year in junior high school, she met her role model Dancegod Lloyd who told her about DWP Academy.
After completing junior high school, at age 14, Afronita joined the Dance With Purpose Academy in Accra in 2018. She started going to dance classes, and with her consistency, she has become one of the best female dancers in Ghana. Through dance, she has featured in Magazines like Skygirls, Touch Beam, and Discovery Teens.
Afronita has also starred in movies like Sugar, Leg Work, “Spice and Sauce 3” and danced in music videos of renowned Ghanaian musicians like Dope Nation. Apart from dancing, Afronita is a dance teacher. She organizes dance classes online for beginners. In January 2024, DWP Academy announced Afronita’s exit from the Academy in a press statement released on X on January 22, 2024. Danita is now an independent brand.
