Camidoh was born on January 21, 1994, in Aflao Avueme, in the Volta Region of Ghana, and raised by a single mother, Christiana Dzifa Fudjoe, a teacher at Ola Girls’ Senior High School in Ho, the Capital of the Volta Region, Ghana. Camidoh grew up in Ho alongside his two younger siblings, and he came to Accra when it was time for him to attend University. He is 30 years old and a native of Aflao Avueme, in the Volta Region.

Music Career
Camidoh developed an interest in making music at age fourteen. He was inspired after listening to songs of Akon in an Internet Cafe. However, he started his professional music journey in 2008 and was doing music covers. He later began making his own music, and he auditioned for one of the seasons of the MTN Hitmaker reality show but couldn’t make it into the competition after going through different levels of the audition. In 2018, he got his breakthrough in the Ghana music industry after releasing “For My Lover” ft. Darkovibes. In that same year, he was signed by Grind Don’t Stop Records.
After the release of “For My Lover,” Camidoh dropped “The Best” ft. Kelvyn Boy, followed by Available ft. Eugy. On July 3, 2020, he released his debut EP, “Contingency Plan,” a six-track External Play with songs like Find Me, Hot Pursuit, How Did You, TikTok (Available), Maria, and Midoh Blues. In 2021, he released “Dance With You,” a single ft. Kwesi Arthur, and following that, he has released songs like Sugarcane, Kaba, Sugarcane Remix, and Slow ft. Magixx. In 2022, he released his second External Play, dubbed “Sugarcane EP,” with six renditions of the remix of his Sugarcane ft. King Promise, Mayorkun, and Darkoo. He has topped the music charts with his Sugarcane song and accumulated 1M views on YouTube with the Sugarcane Remix in two days and 20M in two months.
The Sugarcane remix also became one of the most searched Afropop songs on Shazam, number 1 on the Top 100 Apple Music in Nigeria in the first week of its release, and number 1 on the Top 100 Apple Music in Uganda. Camidoh is one of the favorite male vocalists in Ghana and Africa now. He has performed at events in African countries like Uganda, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Nigeria. He has also performed at events in UAE, New York, the USA, and the UK. In his home country, Ghana, he has performed at several events, including the Ghana Independence Day Party, Ankara Party, and Wildland Festival.
