Darkoo was born in Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria, on September 18, 2001. She spent a bit of her early life in Yaba at one of the Bangalore’s in YabaTech with her mum, who was a lecturer at the federal polytechnic. In 2008, at age 7, Oluwafisayo moved to South London, UK, with her mother, and she grew up there.

Career
Darkoo was 16 years old and was still in high School in the United Kingdom when she started making music. However, professionally, she began at the age of 18 years old. In 2019, she released her first single, “Gangsta,” featuring British rapper One Acen on the song. After the release of Gangsta, the song went viral on TikTok, entering the official singles chart at number 34 in November 2019 and climbing to number 22 in January 2020.
Following her first song, in March 2020, she dropped “Juicy” featuring British rapper Hardy Caprio. This track also performed well on the official singles chart. Later, in 2020, Darkoo’s “Gangsta song got a nomination in the Song of the Year Category at the MOBO Awards. She was also nominated in the Best Female Act and Best Newcomer Categories.
In April 2021, She featured on the remix of “Body” by Russ Millions and Tion Wayne.
