Vivian Jill Lawrence is a Ghanaian actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman. She owns the Jills Pub and Restaurant in Patasi-Kumasi, Ashanti Region. She is also the founder of the Jills Foundation and the producer of Abrewa Mafia, a comic series on Abrewa Mafia Official TV on YouTube.

Vivian Jill Lawrence is 40 years old. She was born in Kano, Nigeria, to a Ghanaian mother from Ankaase Ejuratia and a half-Ghanaian and half-Scottish Father on September 11, 1983. She came to Ghana for the first time when she was eight. She grew up in Dichemso, Kumasi, and in her early 20s, she went to live with one of her brothers in South Africa. After spending five years in South Africa, she returned to Ghana. Currently, Vivian Jill lives in Oseikrom, Kumasi.

Career

Vivian Jill never had dreams of becoming an actress but a businesswoman. The reason was that her mother had a store in Kumasi, and at the end of the day, whenever she made her sales, she gave all the money to young Vivian Jill to count, which made her want to become a businesswoman in the future. However, acting found Vivian Jill after actor and producer Daniel Adeleye saw how well she drove at a restaurant and then approached her and told her about an upcoming movie he wanted to shoot with her. At that time, Vivian Jill had returned to Ghana from South Africa for the first time after five Years, and she decided to go and eat at a restaurant in Kumasi.

After Daniel Adeleye told her about the movie shoot, She didn’t show any interest, so he later went to see Vivian Jill’s mum and told her about it, but at the time, the actress had gone back to South Africa. So when she returned to Ghana the second time, her mum convinced her to go for the movie role, and that’s how her acting career started. Vivian starred in her first movie, which she was told would have the title Grass to Grace, but when the movie came out, it had the title Kumasi Yonko. After the movie, those who saw Vivian Jill act on the set of her first film spoke about her great acting skills to other filmmakers, and the next producer she worked for was Pat Thomas.

Vivian Jill worked with producer Pat Thomas, and on the set of his movie, Jackson K. Bentum was the film director, and Bill Asamoah was the production manager (P.M). Later, Jackson also decided to feature Vivian Jill Lawrence in his movie, and from there, she has starred in several Kumawood films.
