Early Life

Kweku Flick was born in Abrepo-Bronikrom, Ashanti Region, on May 16, 2001, to Mr. Osei Kofi Sarfo, a native of Ampabame, and Madam Edith Afia Karikari, a native of Asante Mampong. Kweku grew up in Abrepo alongside his four siblings (two sisters and two brothers). He is the third child of five children of his parents.

Music Career

He started his musical journey when he was in JHS 1. He used to do renditions of his senior brother’s songs and rap to his schoolmates. In JHS 3, he started writing his own songs and took music seriously when he went to Senior High School. With his educational background, he jumped from one SHS to another before finally completing at St. Hubert, and this was because his interest was in music than school.

In 2019, while he was still in SHS, he came out with his first official song, “Awake.” After the release of Awake, he signed a contract with DKC Music Limited, and they shot his “Awake” music video. In 2020, Kweku Flick released his second song under BKC Music titled “Money.” He got his breakthrough in the Ghana music industry with this song.

Following the hit song “Money,” Kweku dropped other singles, including “Bye Bye, Yabr3 pen, and Holding On. However, after some features and collaborations in the subsequent year, in 2022, he released his debut EP, a 7 track External Play dubbed “King of Melodies,” on July 29, 2022. He now has over fifteen songs to his credit and one EP. He has worked with musicians like Sista Afia, Sarkodie, Smallgod, Kwame Eugene, Ko-Jo Cue, and Strongman.
